 INDIA SPELLING BEE 19-20 NATIONAL FINALE IS ON

The National Finale of the India Spelling Bee 19-20 is now scheduled to be held this month. All the winners of the Regional Levels will be competing for the honours and title of National Champions.

The level of competition is really high and we can all expect a very high standard of spelling skills at the contests.

This year, the National level is also being held in the ONLINE FORMAT, due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We will miss the excitement of the nail-biting finishes in the ONSTAGE event but we can expect an equally competitive spirit this year too.

We will be interacting with the Regional Winners over ZOOM and hope to post the videos of the same on YOUTUBE, the Blog and FB pages.

We would suggest to all children that they should see these interviews and get some tips and motivation from these winners on how they have been able to develop their spelling skills.

India Spelling Bee conducted another successful school level spelling competition at S.E. International School, Maharashtra.

SPELLING BEE sees 8 JOINT WINNERS !

The Judges were at a LOSS for WORDS ! Literally ! The quality of the spellers in the SPELLING BEE in US was such that even after multiple rounds of spellings, a winner could not be identified and all eight kept getting the words right !

Such is the interest, preparation and popularity of SPELLING BEEs.

The contest had seen two-way ties earlier, but having 8 contestants being declared joint winners was unprecedented and astonishing.

The joint champions, along with the final words they spelled, are as follow :
